Bromar Road, Camberwell

Carefully and completely refurbished four double bed, two bath modernised bay-fronted Victorian terrace with cellar, on an SE5 best street on lovely high ground by Camberwell Grove Conservation Area and Lettsom Gardens. It comes complete with a generous decked garden.

Walk 8 minutes to East Dulwich Station, 10 minutes to Denmark Hill Station, or 12 to Peckham Rye Station. You’re in a bit of a magic triangle in terms of connectivity! Freehold.

From the front garden open your own front door and take a left into your front reception. Herringbone parquet floors flow through to the second reception room. Both receptions have feature fireplaces. We love the high ceilings.

On through past the cellar access (cellar = great to have) and you’ll find the generous and double-aspect kitchen/diner of over 31 feet by over 10, with bay window and door to the garden. The fitted kitchen’s a high-end affair, with such luxuries as quartz worktops, bar area and even a wine fridge! Appliances are included in the sale.

In the first floor you have three double bedrooms and a modern bathroom (the rear bedroom is our favourite: double-aspect with skylights too), plus and a handy w.c. The second floor hosts a master suite with incredible skyline views and a neat en suite bathroom with both bath and shower.

You’re really close to Camberwell Grove Conservation Area here - with its beautiful Georgian, Edwardian and Victorian architecture - and London Bridge, London Victoria, Clapham Junction, Kings Cross St Pancras and Canary Wharf, via Canada Water, are all quickly reached with multiple transport options close by.

Denmark Hill, East Dulwich and Peckham Rye stations (all Fare Zone 2) are also close, plus there are plenty of useful bus routes just a few minutes from your door.

Local social hubs include Bellenden Road and Rye Lane (check out Artusi, Ganapati, The Begging Bowl and Anderson’s on BR, and Peckham Levels, Peckham Plex Cinema and The Bussey Building on RL), Camberwell Church Street (in central Camberwell we like Theo's, The Camberwell Arms and The Hermits Cave a great deal) and Lordship Lane (for Terroirs and Franklin's, among other treats).

A large Sainsbury’s store is local on Dog Kennel Hill, or nip down to the new M&S Food Hall.

The Hill Bakery serves delicious fresh loaves on nearby Grove Lane, where you'll also find The Crooked Well – both pub and restaurant. The Phoenix is a nice boozer in Denmark Hill Station’s Victorian building.

The South London Gallery is a short stroll away and Camberwell leisure centre at the foot of Camberwell Grove on Artichoke Place has a good range of classes plus gym and swim facilities. Also at the foot of Camberwell Grove is Butterfly Tennis Club and Zen Yoga studio next door.

Lettsom Gardens is a top local secret space with woodland and allotments (get your key for a nominal yearly fee). Access it from a gate just over the road. Local larger parks include Ruskin Park, Warwick Gardens and Peckham Rye Park and Common's 113 acres.

Local schools are brilliant and include Lyndhurst and Dog Kennel Hill primaries. The Villa Nursery is also close on Lyndhurst Grove.
