New Cross has a growing number of great places to eat and drink; The Amersham Arms, The Fat Walrus and The Rose are recommended. Deptford’s close for markets and a thriving evening scene - in Deptford Market Yard and on the high street (by Deptford Station). Here we like The Tapas Room and Marcella in particular. 

Brockley’s got a growing cafe and gastronomic offering too - we like The Orchard, The Gantry and Parlez in particular, plus Browns of Brockley, and Brockley Deli.
