Nunhead has a village-vibe, central green, community centre and well-stocked high street. We like FC Soper for fish and Ayres for bakery goods. A new Co-Op is coming soon. Lordship Lane is great for independent shopping and North Cross Road’s Saturday market is a delight. 

Local pubs include The Rye, The Herne and The White Horse and The Montpelier. Rye Lane has all the trendy hot spots: Peckham Levels, The Bussey Building, rooftop bars for summer months, and lots of pop-ups, plus markets and high street shops and banks.
