Heading east, you’ll hit New Cross for nice pubs and contemporary art gallery (Goldsmiths CCA). Nunhead has your closest high street area. Here we love Ayres bakery and FC Soper wet fish shop, 28 Well Hung, Goodcup and Kudu Grill. 

Green space? Telegraph Hill’s parks are close (check out the Farmers’ Market on Saturdays at the lower park, also local is Brockley Market). You're also close to Nunhead Nature Reserve & Cemetery (one of 'The Magnificent Seven'), and Peckham Rye Park & Common’s 113 acres. Nunhead Green is smaller but most local and has a cute and recently installed playground. And it’s not far for larger open spaces like Blackheath, and Greenwich, Burgess and Ruskin parks.
