El Vermut and Mother Superior are fancy bottle shops, and Goodcup is the best coffee in town. Established local favourites are Soper’s wet fish shop and Ayres bakery. The Nunhead Gardener is a top tip too, close to the station. You also have an active community centre by AOC architects, and a village-style green with playground area.

And for more options, Peckham, New Cross, Brockley, Deptford and Dulwich are a short distance.

Local school provision is good - with Ivydale Primary and Nursery most local to you, and Edmund Waller Primary School and Haberdashers’ (3-18) close as well.
