You’re only a few minutes from a popular leafy park (Lucas Gardens). Peckham Rye Park and Common, Ruskin, Brunswick and Burgess Parks are all fairly close too. You’re also close to The South London Gallery, and highly recommended restaurants/takeaways, cafes, pubs and bars are varied and multiple. We particularly like The Camberwell Arms, The Hermits Cave, The Crooked Well, Silk Road, Lumberjack and Theo’s.

When it’s warm, Rye Lane’s multiple rooftop bars are the on-trendiest destination for cocktails and people-watching. Rye Lane is also where you’ll find the recently-refurbished Market Building, The Bussey Building, and Peckham Levels. 

Peckham’s restaurants are first class - some of our favourites here are Levan, Artusi, The Begging Bowl, Ganapati, Kudu and Peckham Bazaar.

Butterfly Tennis Club and Zen Yoga studio are also nearby, on Camberwell Grove, as well as the leisure centre with pool on Artichoke Place (the annual memberships there are good value). 

You are close to two Fare Zone 2 stations, and also to a host of day and night bus routes a couple of minutes from your door - from Camberwell Church Street. Oval is a short bus ride to connect with the tube there. For more options, Peckham, Herne Hill, Dulwich, Brixton and New Cross are all easily reached.

Little ones? Local schools include Lyndhurst Primary (3-11) and The Villa Nursery and Pre-Preparatory School (2-7).
