Bellenden Road is a brief (five minute) walk for cafes and independent shops and restaurants - not a chain in sight! We love Review for books, Ganapati, Artusi, The Begging Bowl and The General Store. Choumert Road is also close for Petitou cafe, and The Montpelier pub.

Warwick Gardens is your most local green space and playground, while other locals include Lettsom Gardens, Ruskin and Brunswick Parks, and Peckham Rye Park & Common.

Peckham’s already a searing spot, but there’s even more to come: examples being The Peckham Coal Line linear park, and the substantial development in and around Peckham Rye Station.

Camberwell and East Dulwich are also close for more options. In Camberwell check out The South London Gallery, The Camberwell Arms and Theo's. In East Dulwich we like William Rose, The Dulwich Picturehouse, Franklin’s and North Cross Road's yummy Saturday market. 

There are good schools and nurseries in the locale: local families use The Villa Nursery from 2 years (which also has a Pre-Preparatory school to age 7), and Lyndhurst, The Belham and Bellenden primaries.
